Germany and Austria:

March/April 2003

Using the excuse that Jacque Liu (see JacqueLiu.com) was in Berlin on a Fullbright, the parents (YY & WN Liu) and friends (Berta, Pat and Ken) made a two week visit to Austria and Germany, ending up in Berlin with Jacque acting as guide and host. Below are a few of the many pictures we took while on the trip.  Enjoy!

The 5 older folks had a wonderful time in the rental car. They visited the Guttenburg Museum in Mainz,
stayed in mom and pop places along the Rhine or near Wittenburg? and several places in Austria.

A few days in Graz with friends of Berta was the hightlight of the pre-Berlin travels. How fun it was to see the daughter of that family on TV in the hotel along the Danube the day after we left Graz.

In Berlin, we saw many of the standard tourist sites and a few not so standard.
