China Visit:

May & June 2012

When we learned that Yeong Yeong would take the ashes of her mother back to China to be burried near those of her Father we suggested she needed us to go along to carry luggage, etc. We were overwhelmed when she encouraged us to think about going with her. We had traveled several times before with her in previous years but this would be the chance of a life-time and we took it. Included in the plans were Jacque (her son) and his wife, Sarah. So there were the five of us. Below are a few of the many pictures we took.  Enjoy!
Waiting for the long flight.. With ShangHi Cousin New construction everywhere Sleeping or eating Catching up on sleep

After the very nice train ride, we were picked up at the station and driven to FenXing to be welcomed by the large family gathering. That evening, a wonderful 'home-cooked' meal; family style at table with our extended family.
Family House Gate. Wertheim streets. With each arrival, more fireworks. Diverted-use packaging

Just a tiny start. Will add as find time... Come back real soon.
